Morning light

on the road to Canyonlands National Park, UT - 2017. We stopped at the rest area at the intersection of highways 191 and 313. This was my first photograph of the day in the early morning and the light was awesome and the colors were spectacular!

All of the photographs from 2017 were taken with my Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera.

This photograph is not the best but what an awesome view from atop the platform on Temple IV and photo was taken just as the sun was coming out of the clouds. Beautiful sight and view of the other temples rising above the jungle canopy. We had to climb up a steep wooden stairway to get to the top.

We were told you could see a much larger view of the Grand Prismatic Spring from that deck, but it was pretty impressive on the ground level observation deck as well!
